Rug Cleaning
Even though your rug looks clean, normal settling of dust is abrasive and will shorten the
life of your rug. It's recommended that you have your rug cleaned once year.

We begin by removing all loose soil in the carpet by using a powerful dry vacuum system. We then lightly spray our exclusive Heaven's Best cleaning solution onto the carpet. This solution is a mild cleaning solution which immediately penetrates each carpet fiber, and starts breaking up the dirt trapped within.

We then go over the carpet with a floor buffer which has specially designed absorbent pads on the bottom. The buffer weighs about 100 pounds, so as it spins, it gently flops the carpet fiber every way possible. The soil from the top of the fiber down to the base is gently wiped away. The dirt collects on the absorbent pad. We use both sides of the pad, then when it is dirty we use another clean pad. We continue until the soil and moisture are totally removed. At the end of the day we wash the dirty pads so we are ready to go the next day.

Next, we groom the carpet fibers all in one direction. The carpet will be totally dry in less than an hour after we finish the process. The carpet will be standing up like it did when it was new. It will look, feel, and smell clean and fresh. As part of our process, we move the furniture out away from the wall enough to clean thoroughly where it has been sitting. Approximately five minutes later we can replace the furniture. All of this can be done by one person.

We use the same solution for both carpet & upholstery cleaning. The upholstery is cleaned using a portable extraction unit. The cleaning solution is applied to the furniture, and then after it has broken up the soil, both soil and cleaning solution are extracted from the furniture. The drying time may vary depending upon the type of fabric used on the furniture.

Our Rug Cleaning Methods:

To thoroughly remove the most difficult odors from the rug, we can do a decontamination bath.
During this safe bath, heavy rollers go back and forth over the surface of the rug, forcing
the fibers to release the deeply imbedded odor and then drink in fresh water.

Dry cleaning utilizes chemical cleaning solutions to extract dirt. There are three dry-cleaning methods: Dry Foam: A shampoo is applied to your carpet, allowed to dry, then vacuumed up, bringing the dirt with it.

Dry Chemical
After a cleaning solution is applied to the carpet, a machine spins a large bonnet from side to side to absorb dirt in the carpet. After the bonnet is saturated with dirt, it is replaced with a new, clean bonnet and the process continues.

Dry Compound
An absorbent mixture resembling wet sawdust is spread over the carpet. A machine brushes the mixture into the carpet to absorb the dirt. When the mixture dries, it is vacuumed out, taking the dirt with it.

Hot Water Extraction

This carpet-cleaning method is also known as steam cleaning. Hot water extraction forces a hot water based cleaning solution into the carpet under high pressure, then sucks it back out of the carpet along with the dirt.

  • Portable Extraction
  • The carpet is cleaned by a small machine using hot tap water and powered by the electricity source in the house.

Typically rented to do-it-yourselfers, some professionals also use portable units. Truck Mounted Extraction:

This uses a large cleaning machine mounted on a truck or van. The water is heated to a higher temperature and is shot into the carpet at a higher velocity than is possible in portable machines.

Many carpet-cleaning professionals believe this is the most effective way to clean mostly because the heat kills the bacteria and the extra power separates dirt. These powerful machines also pull most of the water back out of carpets, leaving them damp but not wet, and able to dry much quicker.
